| Steps
to be taken for sanction of a loan from West Bengal Financial
Corporation |
WBFC is a state
level financial institution catering to the financial needs of all
industries as well as those of service sectors on easy and tailor
made terms. It may be a tiny, small or medium scale industry or
service sector
(existing/expansion/diversification/modernization/proposed) situated
anywhere in the state of West Bengal.

| The Loan is
available for acquiring land, building, plant machinery, electrical
equipment, miscellaneous fixed assets, furniture, computers, etc.
As also for meeting a portion or the whole of the working
capital requirement depending on merit of the proposal. |
| The loan is
available for any individual, partnership firm, corporate body or
registered co-operative society. |
| The limit of the
loan is restricted to Rs.5.00 crore per project for a corporate body
or a registered co-operative society. For others it is Rs.2.00
crore. Under special circumstances the limits may go upto Rs.20.00
crore and Rs.8.00 crore, respectively. |
| To avail of a
loan, one has to prepare a project report and call on us at our Head
Office at 12-A, N. S. Road, (3rd/ 4th Floor), Kolkata : 700 001 or
at any of our branch offices at district Head Quarters. |
| The project report
should contain mainly the promoter’s background in details,
technical feasibility & & economical viability of the
project, marketing of the proposed product, documents in regard to
demand and supply gap and synopsis of performance of the associated
units of the promoters for at least last four years. |
| After discussion
with the promoters, if the project is found acceptable, necessary
forms will be issued depending on the merit & suitability of the
proposed project. |
| The promoters
should submit the filled up application form along with
non-refundable Processing Fee @ 0.30% of the loan amount sought for.

| The application
form will then be scrutinized, credentials of the promoters
&& their associated units will be verified and after
obtaining satisfactory references, inspection to the proposed
location & other associated units, if required, will be carried
on. Thereafter an appraisal note of the proposed project will be
prepared and placed before the concerned authority for approval.

| On approval of the
project the promoters have to pay a non-refundable Commitment Fee @
0.25% of the loan amount sought for, accepting the terms &
conditions of the sanction to obtain the necessary sanction advice.
